WHAT TO EXPECT
Our clinical team come from a diverse background. Steve Porter (Clinical Psychology Registrar) has experience in heavy industry and the corporate sector in health and transport/logistics. This experience prior to embarking on the psychology journey has been valuable in understanding the different environments our clients experience. It has also lead to an appreciation of the position now held in supporting clients in regional and rural NSW.
You can expect to be greeted and treated by a positive and professional team. We are committed to supporting regional and rural NSW and as a result, we are flexible to the needs of our clients. This means session may be booked outside of business hours (telehealth) or weekends.
Our most used treatment approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Some presenting difficulties can require a different approach, however you will be consulted and included in the choice regardless.
